Holy Communion on Pentecost Sunday

Dearly beloved members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
    blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8

Tomorrow, Pentecost Sunday, we will gather for the Divine Service 9:00 am. The service will include Holy Communion for those who wish to receive it.

I have provided some explanations about the distribution of the sacrament:

 I also want to suggest to you, as you prepare your hearts and minds for receiving the Sacrament, read again, prayerfully, the “Christian Questions with their Answers” in your hymnal or catechism. Or you can view them here:  http://catechism.cph.org/en/questions-answers.html

If you are feeling sick, please do not come. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who is symptomatic, please do not come. The CDC says the symptoms are Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; Fever, Chills, Muscle pain, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. If you have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, you probably want to self-isolate taking care not to spread this disease.

Please give me a quick reply, text or call if you plan to attend and take communion tomorrow. This will help me prepare.

With you in Christ,

Pastor Ron Koch
